As for life and such, weekend was pretty good. Had my friend Brooke over on Saturday-Sunday. That was pretty fun, even though we did nothing. I've also been window shopping for Japanese magazines and books and stuff. I fail. tricolores, I need to bawww at you over some Nodame Cantabile stuff.

School started for me a couple weeks ago. I just have one class for now; anatomy & physiology. It's going pretty well so far, even though it's a bit dull and a bit gross. Oh well, at least it's not chemistry.

After obtaining that display case, I've decided to start working on reorganizing my room. Primarily the stuff on the walls, since a lot of it just doesn't look nice. So I've been clobbering my back cleaning up the clutter as a starting point.

Also, Katie got me hooked on playing Touhou. I fail. I'm playing Perfect Cherry Blossom right now. I've also been downloading Touhou doujin music. /fail. I'm also playing Fate/Stay Night. Still on the Fate route for now.

Violin's coming along nicely. I'm getting better~

I'm hopefully getting all 3 of the doujin I've been after! =D.

And finally, I've got a spare box of Hetalia One Coin figures sitting on my desk. I'll be selling them, though some are gifts and/or already claimed. The set is the Axis, the Allies, and Romano. France, England, Japan, Russia, and China are claimed. I'm not sure what I'm going to charge for them yet, but if you're interested in any of the unclaimed ones, let me know!

/completely useless entry

Hey, does anyone know of any doujinshi sellers like thelittlenook out there? Particularly ones that can do Y!JA bidding and direct purchasing from Japan on request. I have something I want, but TLN is on indef. hiatus right now ;__;.

Ikasucon came and went. I'm not going to post a report on it for various reasons. The pictures are here though.

Other than that, I got a new phone! I can actually do things with it! Like mess with ringtones and use the internet and send texts. It's nice to be able to do these things. I also picked up a portable HD today, since Wal Mart had 250 GB ones on sale for $60.

Finally, I actually got the scanner hooked up! I'd planned on getting that done ages ago, but there was a huge holdup in getting the scanner transferred into my room. I have it all hooked up and ready to go now, though. I'll get onto the task of scanning doujinshi probably today.

Which leads to another point. I've set up a doujinshi scans community, dolce_adagio and I will be posting all of my doujin uploads there. Feel free to join it. It's bare right now, but I plan on getting it all prettied up and such today.

Thing is, I don't actually know any Japanese, so I'll be offering mostly raws. soraryuu kindly agreed to help me out with translations for my Austria/Hungary doujinshi, and I'm quite grateful for that. If anyone else on my f-list knows Japanese well enough to translate doujinshi and would like to help me out, I'd love that. I have mostly Hetalia and D. Gray-man doujinshi, but I also have some Yu-Gi-Oh and Kyo Kara Maoh doujinshi, a Harry Potter one, a Fate/Stay Night one, a Gankutsuou one and maybe a Host Club one that I may potentially scan. Well, the Harry Potter one is guaranteed to get scanned, because I'm curious about it, though idk when I'll get to it. It's Sirius/Remus. Also, just a heads up to anyone interested in translating, most of my doujinshi is smut of the guy on guy variety. I have some fluff ones, too, but the majority is porn. So if porn's not your thing, you probably shouldn't offer to help, or should let me know that you're only interested in my not-porn. It should go without saying, but I'll credit my translators where credit is due. I'd never claim someone else's work as my own.
